Care instructions

Printed apparel can be machine-washed cold, inside-out on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent and like colors. Use non-chlorine bleach only when necessary. You shouldn't use any fabric softeners or dry-clean the items. DTG-printed apparel can be tumble-dried on a low cycle, but hang-dry works best. When it comes to ironing, use cool iron inside-out. Don't iron the print. Follow these instructions carefully to avoid fading and cracking of the print, and shrinking the garment that can occur if you wash or dry it on a high setting.

Are your products eco-friendly?

We try to do our best to minimize waste in packaging and source eco-friendly packaging materials. Many of our packaging materials are either recyclable or biodegradable. Bubble wraps are made from a minimum of 15% recycled plastic and 10% post-consumer content. Our kraft tubes are made from 70-100% post-consumer recycled content and 0-30% secondary recycled content.

Are the packaging materials recyclable?

The poly bags used in our packaging are recyclable, low-density polyethylene, FDA and USDA compliant.

What type of ink do you use?

We use genuine Brother GT-3, water based pigment inks. GT-3 inks are CPSIA compliant and Oeko-Tex™ certified, which means they are safe to print on youth/children’s clothing and reduce environmental waste. Also, GT-3 inks provide a high washing colorfast AATCC rating of 4.

What technology is used to print on t-shirts (and any fabric product)?

Our standard process is the Direct to Garment (DTG) method of printing. That means we can create photo quality prints, the amount of colors used doesn't affect pricing, and there aren't any order minimums. We use Kornit and Brother printers for all DTG printed garments.

How durable are DTG printed shirts compared to Screen Printed shirts?

Our experience shows us that DTG printed shirts are just as durable as screen printed shirts when it comes to wash-ability.

Why does my shirt have a vinegar smell?

When unpacking a new shirt or hoodie with a direct-to-garment (DTG) print, you might notice a vinegar-like smell or an off-white residue. Don't worry, that's not unusual - it's from a fixation agent applied during the printing process and it's not permanent. Fixation agent (sometimes known as pre-treatment) is used for all DTG prints across the industry. It helps the ink bond with the fabric, and without it, the ink would flake off the garment. The solution is simply to wash the garment! Neither the residue nor the smell is permanent and both should go away after one wash.

Shipping

Are there any shipping delays?

Here are the approximate delays you can expect in addition to the estimated delivery times indicated on our shipping page: US to US → 5 additional business days / US to Canada → 7 additional business days / EU to US, Canada → 25 additional business days.
Because of delays, we're routing US, Canadian, and Australian orders to Europe only when it's a product that we can't fulfill in the US or Mexico. In Latvia, airlines are easing restrictions on flights, which means we'll be able to ship orders out more frequently. Right now, there are flights going out to Vilnius, Tallinn, Oslo, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Helsinki, and Munich. We're in touch with our carriers and they'll notify us of any more disruptions. We also recommend you follow your local news for any regional disruptions.

Will shipping be more expensive for orders going from EU to US?

No, the shipping price you see for each region on our shipping page is the same regardless of where the order is shipped from. For example, shipping a t-shirt to the US costs $3.99, whether we ship it domestically or from our facility in Europe. The threshold for customs fees for orders going to the US is quite high, so it's unlikely you'll have to pay customs fees.

How long does it take to ship an order from EU to the US and Canada?

As of May 20, the average delivery time for orders from our European facility to the US, Canada, and Australia is an additional 25 business days on top of the estimated shipping time. This time frame may change; we'll post updates here. Moving forward, we're routing US and Canadian orders to Europe only when it's a product that can't be fulfilled in the US or Mexico.

Is it safe to receive packages from areas where Covid-19 has been reported?

This is what the World Health Organization recommends: Yes. The likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low and the risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, traveled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low.
